Passive Fire Protection

Intumescent coatings are a huge part of what we do at SCI, as this passive fireproofing system is proven to increase how long it takes for your building’s structural components to fail, allowing occupants enough time to safely evacuate.
Our intumescent coating projects are inspected by Level 2 SSPC Fireproof Inspectors prior to sign-off to ensure a high standard of quality and safety.
Graffiti Removal
Graffiti can be difficult to remove yourself, especially in large areas or on surfaces such as brick. We use specialist graffiti removal techniques such as abrasive blasting, high and ultra high pressure water jetting, and steam cleaning depending on the surface and its surroundings.

Delicate Abrasive Blasting
Our delicate abrasive blasting service provides an effective yet gentle solution for cleaning and rejuvenating sensitive surfaces. Some surfaces, like aged or fragile brickwork, timber, or steel, may not be suitable for traditional abrasive blasting – however, there are situations where alternatives won’t provide the desired effect.
In this case, we can assess whether your surface is appropriate for delicate abrasive blast cleaning for rejuvenation.
DOFF/Hot Steam Cleaning
In our DOFF steam cleaning service, we use superheated water and steam to gently, yet extremely effectively, remove stains and discolouration from surfaces such as stonework, brickwork, and concrete.
This is an ideal option in situations where you may be concerned about damaging the surface, as DOFF can even lift things like paint and ink without harming the underlying surface.
