TECHNOLOGIES

Our experience in working with protective coating technologies in the construction industry means we understand that the process of choosing the right coating can be overwhelming. Luckily, we’re here to help you decide which specialist coating technology is right for you.

Thin Film Intumescent Coating

This is a fire protective intumescent coating designed for use in buildings with resistance requirements of up to 90 minutes. With DFTs of up to 5000μm, thin film intumescent protective coatings can be solvent or water-based and come as a single pack designed to withstand cellulosic fires.

THICK Film Intumescent Coating

Thick film intumescent protective coatings are usually solvent-free and epoxy-based, with DFTs up to 25,000μm. These coatings require specialist application by plural straying machines and are designed to offer protection against hydrocarbon pool/jet fires.

Protective Coatings

Depending upon the application and specifications, the most common protective coatings are polyurethanes, epoxy, alkyds, zinc-rich coatings, and acrylics. This is not an exhaustive list and various environments may require coatings adapted to the application.

Linings

Most applications of linings aim to protect the inner surface of a structure and demonstrate superior properties reinforcing, enhancing and restoring structural integrity. This will help our clients to return their assets back to service without the need to replace them.
